Vacation Rentals & Activities for Value Seekers! Plenty of sun, sand and surf!
Low prices, the ability to get along without a car for days on end, lots of community resources, plentiful shopping and dining options and lots of sun make Kihei a very popular destination for the budget minded Hawaii vacation traveler. Accommodations range from 2 story, low density complexes to 4-6 story buildings all with ocean views and either on or within a 5 minute walk of one of Kihei’s spectacular beaches. Don’t miss nearby Ma’alaea Resort for a similar experience.
Kihei Town, the home of the Pacific Whale Foundation and Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale Sanctuary, is the happening capital of South Maui. It is Maui’s fastest growing resort and residential community and boasts several shopping centers and scores of condominiums. Many are across S. Kihei road from the beaches but cross walks and low speed limits make for easy access.
Miles of white, sandy beaches perfect for snorkeling, swimming & playing, low prices, plenty of sun, easy access to shopping, no need for a car (if you don’t want to explore the island), temperatures between 75°- 85°F year round and a wide selection of accommodations make Kihei Vacation Rentals the perfect choice for many holiday sun seekers and vacation travelers.
All condos on our site are within a 1-6 minute walk from the beach and most are wonderfully affordable vacation rentals.
Ten miles of magnificent white sand beaches stretch along Kihei Road all the way from Ma’alaea Harbor to Makena. They range from unspoiled and secluded to full-facility beach parks with life guards, toilets, beach volleyball, rental facilities and more. From Keawakapu in the south to the Kihei Boat Ramp, Kamaole III, II and I, Cove Park, Kalama Park and Sugar Beach, you’re sure to find a spot to keep returning to. These beach parks are well used weekends by the locals but there is plenty of sand, sun and shade for all.
The southern part of Kihei borders on Wailea and is less commercial. Here the beaches are also a bit more protected from the wind. If you like long, beach front jogs, wind surfing, etc.. central and North Kihei may have what you’re looking for.
Snorkel and dive gear, kayak rentals, and boat tours are readily available. Snorkeling cruises depart for Molokini from Kihei boat ramp, usually in the morning. Many of the fish at Molokini are tame and the protective arms of the sunken crater rim assure calm waters for novice snorkelers. Good snorkeling and smooth waters are also available at many Kihei beaches – Kamaole II and III are particularly good.
We believe you know best what is important to you in a condo and it’s environment, so each Resort page describes the location, rates, rating and amenities of the resort and provides a list of the rentals you can find there with photo, basic info on size, view, location, cost and links to the full listing. Use our Map to help you see where the Kihei condos on this site are located.
