Many flights into Maui arrive late at night Add to this the time zone change and chances are your biological clock feels as if it is the middle of the night. Though the warm breezes wake you up (and possibly a Mai Tai as you walk off the plane) once you grab your luggage and rental car the last thing you want to do is go grocery shopping. Luckily, you can pre-order grocery delivery on Maui! This pre-trip planning can make you a super-hero when you arrive to your spot in paradise.

Since the pandemic, the options for convenient shopping and delivery services on Maui have expanded. Here is a list of the ones we have used or have heard great things about.

1.Maui Grocery Service

Located in Wailuku this company has been around a while and can deliver to all parts of Maui. Go to their website, pick the items you wish to have delivered, give them your shopping list, pick a date and time for the delivery and you are done. We love using them for late night snacks (they even deliver beer and wine) for the day we arrive and also breakfast foods for that first morning. If you happen to be staying at any of our South or West Maui condos your host's on-island contact can allow for delivery before you arrive. Don't forget to say you heard about them from Maui Owner Condos - the Pauli's" at check out for a $10 discount as well.

2. Maui Market Delivery-808-855-8828

Located in Kihei, this is a newer company we have heard good things about. They shop multiple stores and local markets for the freshest fruit and best options. A good option for our South Maui area vacation rentals. They will help stock your fridge before you arrive! Full service grocery delivery. Will get beer, wine etc if needed as well.

3. Demmings Deliver Services-

Located in Lahaina - In business for over 11 years, this is great service for our West Maui area condo rentals

4. Makai Services-

Your personal Maui Shopper & Concierge Services - Makai requires 72 hour advance notice but will shop at the local farmers markets for the freshest fruits & vegetables. They can also deliver kosher food. No fancy website, you email Michelle your order but this is a true mom & pop local business - check them out.

1. Instacart: Already have the app and account? Safeway, Costco, Foodland, Times Groceries, Target, Walgreens, Office Max, Lowes all use Instacart.
2. Hopper MauI: My local favorite for Restaurant Delivery 9AM-9PM M-Sun.Get their app and create an account - they often send emails with codes for free delivery or discounts. and YES, YOU CAN even ORDER BREAKFAST!

FOODLAND: 808-879-9350 at 1881 S Kihei Rd at Kihei Town Center across from the softball field and Kalama Park (whale statue). Open 24 hours daily except holidays. Includes a pharmacy. Are you a senior? Shop Thursdays for a 5% discount. - Locations also in Lahaina, Kahului, Wailuku, Pukalani.....

SAFEWAY: 808-891-9120 at 277 Pi'ikea Ave at the intersection of Pi'ilani Hwy. Kihei's newest store has everything. Get a membership card when you check out for some savings. Open 24 hours has pharmacy. Locations also in Lahaina/Kaanapali, Kahului, Wailuku. Delivery Available

TIMES MARKET: 808-442-4750 at 1310 South Kihei Road at the intersection of Lipoa Street is also open 5AM-1AM and is slightly larger than Foodland. Great Fresh Local Caught Fish and some local produce. Locations also in Lahaina/Kaanapali. Delivery Available

WAILEA WINE & SPIRITS: 808-879-0555 Friendly service from owners. Fine wines can be purchased here with cigars, beer, gifts and gourmet food items. Located in the new Wailea Center near Joes and Grand Champions on Ike Dr. Treat your friends to a wine tasting!

WHOLE FOODS: 808-872-3310 Located in Kahului, not far from the airport at 70 Kaahumanu Ave #B in the Maui Mall (near Alamaha).

WHALERS GENERAL STORE: 808-891-2039 Shops at Wailea at the back. Wines, frozen foods, limited groceries, small Deli. Similar to ABC stores. You can walk to it from Ekahi Village, Polo Beach Club, Wailea Beach Villas, Grand Champions... Many locations through out Maui

ISLAND GOURMET MARKETS: 808.874.5055. Shops at Wailea free standing near North entry. Upscale with great sushi and gourmet deli, sandwiches to order, wines, fruits, veggies, dairy, frozen food too - small but everything you need for condo or hotel life and walkable to all Wailea.
