The Kihei Akahi complex is comprised of studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites in four buildings. All units are individually-owned and each has a private lanai, in-suite laundry, cable TV and an assigned parking spot.Our complex consists of 4 buildings:Building A – “Kīlauea” is a wood frame two-story building containing 8 “townhouse” style suites.Building B – “Mauna Loa” is also a wood frame two-story building containing 10 apartments, 5 on the first floor and 5 on the second floorBuilding C – “Mauna Kea” is a split 5 and 6 story concrete building containing 110 apartments serviced by 2 elevatorsBuilding D – “Haleakala” (our building) is a 7 story concrete building containing 112 apartments serviced by 2 elevators

About Owner

We are Laurie (Lali) & Jeff, owners of Kihei Akahi unit DG13. Owning a home on Maui has been a dream from the first time Laurie set foot on the island more than 20 years ago. Year after year we have traveled here to enjoy all that Maui has to offer. It's a magical place that calls us back time after time. Our full-time home is a small farm in Calistoga in the Napa Valley, California. Jeff is a 7th generation Calistogan. His family was instrumental in the formation of our town. He is a realtor specializing in the wine industry and his business focus is on Pinot Noir vineyards, wineries and high end wine country estates. Cancellation Policy

For cancellations >60 days prior to arrival, the balance of your payment will be refunded less a cancellation fee equal to one nights stay. For cancellations <60 days prior to arrival NO REFUND will be given. We strongly recommend the purchase of ‘Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR)’ trip interruption/trip cancellation insurance to help against financial losses if trip delay or cancelation is necessitated by certain kinds of unforeseen circumstances. We can't say enough about Maui! Or DG13

"Or DG-13! 5 STARS IN OUR BOOKS!!!! Maui has been our "go-to" place since our honeymoon in 1991. We weren't able to return the first time til 2004. Life... Since then, we've visited this beautiful island 12 times - approximately every 2 years. (We certainly wish we could stay indefinitely!) Each trip holds its own sweet memories. We have made many friends there! Accommodations have always been the trickiest part of booking our trips. Location, location, location. This trip, DG-13, was the top contender. And from the minute we set foot inside, we knew we'd found our resort! The heritage photos on the wall correspond to the details in the Welcome Binder. So informative. You become a part of Laurie & Jeff's family! Laurie & Jeff also have a binder with local information it. From restaurants to medi centers to beaches to events. It's all there. We added to it, which they warmly received. All this info eliminates reinventing the wheel and destressing your stay. It lets you focus on getting "out there" and experiencing Maui in all its splendor! Oftentimes, the difference between a great unit and an outstanding one is the attention to detail - and DG13 is easily the best equipped and managed unit we have stayed in yet. The kitchen has everything (even an electric kettle!), and everything is easy to find. If you don't know how to work the TV remote, no problem! There are instructions handy for everything. The attention to detail is truly amazing. Comfy bed, beautifully furnished living room, and the pool is steps away. It's definitely a great package! We can't say enough about DG-13!"

Highly Recommend this Wonderful condo!

"Second time we have stayed at this wonderful condo... spotless and so many thoughtful items. We were there a month both times and instantly felt at home. Love the location as we could walk right out to the pool and BBQ from the slider which is great when you forget something and steaks still nice and hot! Grounds are beautiful and pool areas well maintained. Communication with Laurie was amazing... we have researched many places over the past several years and were frustrated with other sites as well as their extra fees. Recommend this unit!"

Home 2 days and want to go back already!!

"Laurie was an amazing host. Kind and so easy to deal with. Condo is perfectly situated. Close to the pool and barbecue and right across from the beautiful beach. We had everything we needed for our vacation. Beach chairs, boogie boards, etc."

An Amazing Place

"The condo is beautifully decorated and contains everything one would need during a vacation and more. Everything is so well organized and clean. A peaceful get away

"I truly loved Jeff and Laurie's home. It felt so relaxing and comfortable. I loved that it was a quick 3-minute walk to the beach, within walking distance of amazing food and shops, and not to mention the beautiful orchid garden by the front door. This felt like a home away from my home and it was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much Jeff and Laurie!"
