"This place was exactly what we needed. The beach is so close and walkable we ended up going way more than we planned, especially at sunset. The place itself was really comfortable. The dual AC was clutch after being out all day, and we spent a lot of time on the balcony just looking out at the ocean. Restaurants and shopping all walking distance. We had a rental car but didn't need it really so next time we plan to come to this unit and skip the rental car. We were actually there during a pretty bad storm, but we felt completely fine the whole time. Hearing that other places nearby had flooding definitely made us appreciate where we were staying. Would come back for sure! 10/10"

"We stayed here for 4 nights.I had a comfortable stay, so I'm glad I stayed here. We were able to cook meals because the cooking utensils were provided. I was able to use the washing machine and dishwasher without any problems. There were also toys to play with, and we were able to use the tennis court. On the day of check-in, I didn't make it in time for the office to be open, but I was able to enter the room, so there was no particular problem."

"The most accommodating and generous hosts! We had such a great stay, the condo was well organized and provided everything you could think of. The location is amazing, and just steps from the Kama'ole beach. We saw whales from the balcony in the mornings, the grounds were well kept and the office staff was really helpful as well."

"We had a wonderful day in this condo! Martin and Geri were extremely responsive and very helpful. They even helped us extend our stay at the last minute since we were having such a wonderful time! The condo itself is very well equipped. It has everything you need, including lots of plates, utensils, and kitchen wares. It also has ample beach chairs, umbrellas, and recreational gear such as pickleball equipment. Both beds are extremely comfortable, and the Murphy bed in the living room was easy to use and a great space saving solution! The location of this condo can't be beat! It has an ocean view, with beautiful sunsets off of the lanai! It is just steps away from the beautiful Kamaole beaches. It is a wonderful unit with a great location!"

"From the moment we walked into Martin and Geri's condo we knew we were "home". The condo had everything we needed for our family of five and the location was perfect! Only a couple minute walk to the beach (loved it because it was not crowded) and the perfect place to take a daily morning walk for our daughters to get their iced coffee and smoothies and our son to get his cinnamon roll! We are already looking forward to our next visit to Kihei."

"This place was much more than we imagined it would be for our stay in Kihei without a car. Big beautiful beaches across the street for swimming, snorkeling. A prime location in south Kihei with excellent food options and shopping all within walking distance. Lush Akahi grounds are peaceful and well kept. The C building is best located in the middle so there are no parking lots to view from the lanai. The south facing lanai is on the 4th floor over a garden with an ocean view. We spent much time there catching sun and the sunset. The condo is more renovated than other typical Akahi units. A new bright upscale kitchen and uniquely decorated. With screens on the lanai, front door and bedroom windows we enjoyed a nice breeze through the condo without the AC. It was super clean with comfortable beds and furniture. The Murphy bed is definitely more comfortable than a pull out sofa. The condo is well equipped with everything you could want.Mahalo to hosts Geri and Martin!"

"I would 100% stay here again on my next trip to Maui. The location is wonderful. They don't give themselves enough credit in the description. It is literally as close to the beach as you can get without being on the beach. You just stroll through the complex and across the street and you are there. Close to great snorkel spots and great restaurants. They have all of the beach and outdoor gear you need too! No need to rent anything. We use the wagon in the cooler almost daily. If you are traveling with kids, the toys and pack and play are amazing. It is very close to shops and restaurants. They were very friendly and responsive hosts! The pools are perfect and the view off the balcony! Can't say enough good things about this place. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Martin and Geri were lovely and accomodating hosts. The unit is more renovated than other typical units in the Kihei Akahi complex. Things that stood out were definitely the windows in the bedroom that helped keep noise out (compared to the shutter-style that is more common and lets in all outside noise), as well as the Murphy bed in the living area which is definitely comfier than a pull out sofa or air mattress. The building complex is right across the street from a great beach and in a safe area with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. As a note for those arriving late at night when it's more difficult to see signage: on Google Maps / Uber the address is not specific to the building. Make sure to get a map image or pointers from the host prior to arrival to avoid any confusion on the location."

"Incredible location, perfect South Kihei condo! The upgraded condo was bright, spotless, beautifully furnished, and has a stunning ocean and garden view from the lanai. It's only a few minute walk to the beach. It has tasteful Hawaiian gallery art and decor. A bright upscale kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. The furniture and beds were all very comfortable with extra quality linens, towels and far more supplies than we expected. Strong wifi and AC, games, beach gear and a secure safe. We loved the trade winds through the unit with all windows open. This unit is in the perfect location within Kihei Akahi. Two pools are close by with tiki torches, grills and gardens. Great shops and restaurants are nearby. Assigned parking spot is ideal. Geri and Martin made sure we had all we needed along with a couple of tasty surprises! I am a super host in another city so I try to be thorough in my reviews. We loved everything about this place! We will be back. Mahalo!"

"The apartment was really neat and clean. It had all the essentials and fit our needs. The beach is very close, just 5 min walking and you're in the ocean. Most cities are easily within reach of an hour. Martin and Geri are also really communicative and can recommend some good spots to eat. "Aloha!! After staying at akahi, we can't wait to go back! I stayed with my 2 teenagers and the whole vacation was amazing. We got to the condo super easy! Great directions, easy check in, and the elevator to the unit makes for seamless entry! Walking into the condo we immediately noticed how clean, bright, and inviting everything was! Fully stocked kitchen and bathroom, which is always appreciated! All of the extra bath towels, beach towels, and wash cloths - were perfect! My teenage son (6'+) slept on the Murphy bed in the living room and it was very comfortable. The master bed was also very comfortable! I hate to say it, but we did spend plenty of time in the living room and everything was comfortable and felt like home!! The washer and dryer and air conditioning were also amazing!! The lanai is heaven. I spent many hours in the morning drinking coffee, reading my book, and just enjoying the birds and sounds of Hawaii perfect location for ocean watching too!! We walked to the beach every day multiple times. It was SO close and so easy to get there with a cross walk literally outside the condo grounds. It is also so close to many restaurants and shops, which was great! Another added bonus - the condo came with beach essentials! A few beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler! That was awesome! we used them every day! Lastly I'll say, Geri and Martin are a joy to work with! They answered all my goofy questions prior to arriving and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed while we are there. 10/10 we WILL be back. We can't wait!! Mahalo!"

"This property was PERFECT! The beach was walking distance-less than 5 minutes. The property is clean and quiet, and my family (five adults) slept comfortably. Kitchen is stocked though we mostly ate out, and an added bonus for us was laundry access right in the unit-perfect for drying towels and washing beach wear after a day in the water! Would recommend, and would stay again! Host was easy to communicate with-five stars!"
