Location Info

Wailea Elua Village is a lovely, open, low-density resort located right on gorgeous Ulua Beach in Maui. The village consists of only 153 condos spread across a 23-acre site, so there are beautiful open spaces and views everywhere. Palm trees, tropical flowers, and orchids abound. There are two pool areas, both recently remodeled. The upper pool area has a jacuzzi spa. The lower pool and pavilion area is absolutely stunning and located right next to the beach. The pavilion has a full kitchen, shared BBQs, both covered and uncovered areas for dining and relaxing, a lending library, and computer workstation. Additionally, there is a gym/workout room with a view of the ocean!Our home (Elua 701) is perfectly situated in the center of the Wailea Elua Village property. We are only 150 yards from Ulua beach -- just a 90 second walk to the sand and the world famous 2-mile Wailea Beach Walk that connects all the beachfront resorts along the stunning South Maui shoreline. Our condo is centrally located to the upper pool and Jacuzzi area, paddle tennis / pickle ball court, as well as the remodeled and absolutely beautiful lower pool and pavilion area (which is right next to the beach). Additionally, since our condo is in the middle of the village we are far away from all the road noise of Wailea Alanui Drive which runs along the back of the property. Thus, whether you are relaxing inside our home or outside on the large lanai all you can hear is the surf, the birds, and the breeze in the palms.

Aloha! We were married on Ulua Beach in Maui back in 1990. It was a wonderful little ceremony attended by just ourselves and our parents. We quickly fell in love with Maui, especially the south (Kihei/Wailea) side. It wasn't long (1991 actually) before we purchased our first condo in Kihei. It was a small unit with no ocean view, but it was our "foot in the door". It was also our introduction to owning a vacation rental condo on Maui. A COMPLETED AND SIGNED Rental Contract is required to be received PRIOR TO BOOKING. An example of our Rental Contract is available for review.Payment Policy: VISA MasterCard credit cards are the only payment methods we accept. US funds only. No debit cards, wire transfers, personal checks, cashier’s checks, or money orders accepted. A deposit equaling 25% of the full amount due and a signed copy of the Rental Agreement document is required to secure your reservation. Cancellation Policy

Payments are refundable less a $150.00 handling fee if cancellation is received 60 days prior to arrival date. For cancellations received between 30 and 60 days of arrival date, a 50% refund will be provided. For cancellations received within 30 days of arrival or after arrival date, all payments will be retained. For Christmas/New Year’s reservations, no cancellations or refunds after October 1st. Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of the actual arrival or departure date. NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURE. To protect your investment, we recommend all guests purchase a ”Vacation Rental Insurance” or “Trip Insurance” plan from an authorized provider.

Bespoke Condo in a Lovely Setting

"This was our second time staying at Elua 701. As someone who lives in a mid-century modern home, I appreciate the great care that Randy and Julie have taken with the overall design of their condo. All of the furnishings, finishes, and art are beautiful and thoughtfully designed. As someone who loves to cook, I really appreciate how tricked out the kitchen is. You will have everything you need for meals in the condo. There are also the little touches - like to-go coffee mugs and plastic glassware of various designs that you can use at the pool. Ulua Beach in front of the condo is fantastic for snorkeling; I always see turtles when I snorkel there in the morning. This time we tried the outrigger canoes and we had such a nice time. It's not as hard as it looks! We also went to the luau at the Andaz, and I thought that it was a wonderful show full of history and storytelling and thoughtfully prepared food and drinks for a larger crowd. Not at all what I expected. Everyone we talked to who lives locally said that folks want visitors (respectful, of course) to come back to Maui. They are worried that visitors are staying away and the island needs our support. We've been going to Hawaii for 24 years, Maui more than anywhere else, and have stayed at many different places. I really feel that for your money, you get so much value and comfort from the Elua 701 condo. It would be hard for me to go back to a hotel at this point!"

Lovely condo!

"Your condo was lovely! Impeccably clean, well stocked, so nicely decorated. It Had everything needed for a home away. Including small things like a water cooker and ziplock bags and I Loved the electric blinds :) I found the binder and all specifics for the condo inside easily. ... Oh and the gate keepers were all friendly:) Check out was smooth. Would definitely recommend to others."

YOU WON’T WANT TO LEAVE

"We really enjoyed our stay at Elua 701. The location on Wailea beach is perfect as it just a 2 minute walk down to the ocean. All of the big hotel resorts are just a short walk away, available for spa services and top rated restaurants. We especially liked Ferraro's at the Four Seasons. Also, Island Gourmet Market at The Shops of Wailea is very close and has lots of prepared foods that are perfect for condo stays. The condo was well stocked with all of the dishes, utensils, bar ware and cooking tools you will need. Everything else in the condo was first rate and can't think of anything that we needed that was not available. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai overlooking the ocean where we ate many of our breakfasts and lunches. The lanai also had two chaise lounges that were great for reading or naps. The property was beautifully maintained. The property has two pools and a tennis/pickleball court. We spent a lot of time on the beach and in the pool. We found that Randy was very easy to deal with and that he provided lots of great information about the condo and the local activities and restaurants. But you really won't want to leave the Condo other than to eat."

A PERFECT GETAWAY AT WAILEA’S FINEST

"This vacation rental exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, communication with Randy was excellent from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience. The unit itself was stunning, boasting beautiful island dcor and ocean views. It was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we could possibly need during our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Location-wise, it doesn't get much better than this. Situated within walking distance to both the beach and the shops at Wailea. We enjoyed walks along the beach path in the morning, heading up from the beach for lunch in the afternoon, and in the evenings we enjoyed probably the best sunset spot on the island at the gated lookout area! Having stayed at several condos in the Wailea area previously, this rental stood out as one of the best. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be checking its availability for our next trip. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable vacation experience."

SPECTACULAR!

"We have been fortunate to have visited many of the Hawaiian islands over the past 25 years and Maui is our favorite. Additionally, Wailea Elua Village is our go or no-go spot, i.e. if a unit we like is not available, we do not go. That being said, we have stayed at several different units in Elua Village but none of them hold a candle to Elua 701. We are so happy we found it and it helped make our vacation fantastic from start to finish. Communication with the owners is a breeze. Randy is a gem to deal with and is extremely prompt and thorough with his information. The payment process is clear and straight-forward, as are the instructions for checking in and out. It is so easy. Local help with regard to the condo (if needed) is only a phone call away and Randy and Julie even provide a binder with area information, including recommendations for food and activities very thoughtfully broken out into price points. The condo itself is exceptional with high-end quality products and finishes. The owners provide every little and big thing you could think of needing and their pride in the unit is clearly evident. It is impeccably clean, extremely well cared-for and nothing is dirty, dingy or worn. My husband thought we were the unit's first renters because there were not any spots or stains anywhere. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, the linens and towels were soft and clean and the unit was free of odors, including the 'masking' smell some cleaning products purposely produce. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen all have whisper quiet ceiling fans and an additional bonus are push-button room darkening shades in the bedrooms, ensuring a restful sleep. There is ample closet space in the bedrooms and the closets themselves are organized with a professional storage system and plenty of quality wood hangers. The owners have even thought to provide hand-held magnifying mirrors in each bathroom, something I really appreciate. The view from the condo and lanai is fantastic and we spent every morning at the bistro table enjoying coffee and every evening enjoying an adult beverage. You know you are having a great vacation when your biggest daily dilemma is whether to enjoy the sunset from the beach, the grass or the lanai. The beach, pool and small but adequate work-out room are a 3 minute stroll from the front door with restaurants and shopping just a quick 5-7 minute walk away. The parking is convenient and the entrance from the road is controlled by a manned gate with fun and friendly security guards. Elua Village is spread out over 24 perfectly manicured acres and is low density, something that is rare these days. It is peaceful and provides a sense of respite, which is why we keep returning. Randy and Julie have captured the essence of aloha the island is known for and put it into their unit, giving guests the feeling of being welcomed and appreciated. You will not be disappointed in Elua 701."
