You will be dealing only with the owner of the property you select. Plan ahead or book your last minute vacation travel accommodations directly with our owners. Ours are legal TRANSIENT VACATION rentals.

Most of us actually live in our units part time. Our kitchens are well equipped, our properties well maintained and the environment is anything but sterile. We all enjoy renting our Maui homes directly and introducing our "guests" to the 6 excellent golf courses and 2 world class tennis clubs within
10 minutes of our "bit of paradise". Most of our owners have been Maui regulars for years and are happy to share their knowledge of the island with you or help you find additional condos for family reunions or larger groups.

Wailea Resort is located in South Maui and known world wide as one of Hawaii's premier vacation destinations. In Wailea you will find 5 of the best swimming beaches in the State with snorkeling spots at each beach. You'll also find 3 Championship Golf Courses two of which were designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr and a world class tennis facility. Both offer special rates for our resort condo guests. The Gold course presently hosts the Senior Skins game televised nationally on Super Bowl Sunday. Five major hotels are located within the project and offer superb dinning experiences. Two other golf courses are within a mile of Wailea just south at Makena which also offers a wonderful tennis facility, even more beaches and another lovely hotel.

In the 1800s Makena was the busiest landing on the southeastern coast of Maui. During the California Gold Rush, many San Francisco-bound ships coming up from Cape Horn stopped for supplies at Makena. Cattle from Ulupalakua and other ranches were shipped to market in Honolulu from the old Makena Landing. The ranchers tethered the animals to longboats and swam them out to steamers waiting just offshore. About a mile south of the landing, just beyond Puu Olai, a 360 foot red cinder hill which is a prominent shoreline feature, is Makena Beach. Makena now has several new condo and home communities as well as The Prince Hotel, golf & tennis. The Ahihi Natural Area Reserve and historical La Perouse Bay can be reached by following Makena Road past this resort area. The King's Highway Coastal Trail follows the coastline across jagged barren lava flows that date from the last eruption of Haleakala in 1790.

Kihei, the home of the Pacific Whale Foundation, is the happening capital of South Maui. It is also the perfect area on Maui for sun seekers. Temperatures range from 75-85F and rainfall averages less than 6"/year. Our 10 miles of beaches range from unspoiled and secluded to full-facility beach parks. Snorkel and dive gear, kayak rentals, and boat tours are readily available. South Kihei is not quite as hectic as the north end. Plenty of restaurants are available from fast snacks (McDonalds) to fine dining.

Ma'alaea is strategically located between the resorts of South Maui and West Maui. Many of the best whale watching, scuba, sailing and other tours leave right from Maalaea Harbor. Here you will find several excellent restaurants, a Pacific Whale foundation store, our fascinating Acquarium (the Maui Ocean Center) and much more. Just 20 minutes from Maui's International Airport in Kahului (OGG) and the funky shops of Old Lahaina Seaport, Maalaea is located in kind of an isthmus between West Maui Mountains & Haleakala Crater.
