bathroom and screened lanai occupy the top floor of the condo. A bedroom with two twin beds, which also has a king-sized conversion kit, and a lanai is found on the main floor. There is a queen-sized sofa bed in the living room. This is a non-smoking unit.
Maui Kamaole, across the street from beautiful Kamaole Beach III and the harbour, is the premier property in Kihei located on the edge of Wailea. It boasts 25 acres of lush tropical grounds with only 316 units, giving a much lower density than other Kihei properties.
Maui Kamaole is a newer complex and our unit was built in 1998. Its facilities include two pools and tennis courts, as well as bbqs throughout the property. The lower pool boasts a large hot tub, the main office, reception desk, kitchen, large seating area and three bbqs. The upper pool, in the shape of Maui, has a beautiful waterfall and a secluded hot tub and more bbqs. Each cluster (A-M) also has its own bbq area. At the top of the property are two excellent tennis courts for your enjoyment.
Maui Kamaole is divided into a number of small three storey clusters with between 8 and 24 units in each. Two bedroom units are located on the top two floors and boast an open air plan, with a vaulted ceiling in the living/dining area up to the master bedroom. Our quiet end unit includes two well equipped bedrooms with twin beds, which can be made up into a king-sized bed, in the downstairs bedroom and a pillowtop queen-sized bed in the master bedroom. It also has two bathrooms with a bath tub and shower downstairs and a large walk in shower in the master ensuite. These bathrooms have recently been renovated in tropical style with etched tiles and shower enclosure. The living room has a queen-sized pillow-topped sofa bed.
Our unit includes a large front lanai for relaxing or dining al fresco. The two bedrooms also have lanais. The lower bedroom lanai is quite small, but the upper enclosed lanai is spacious with reading chairs and a table. Should you wish to dine indoors, there is a large dining area as well as breakfast bar with stools.
We have maintained our unit as new replacing the carpet, sofa bed, twin beds, washer/dryer, easy chair, dining room chairs, bar stools and repainted the entire unit recently. Most recently we replaced our tropical bedspreads, the washer and dryer as well as retiling the entrance, kitchen and two bathrooms and replaced the kitchen counters with granite. All three air conditioners have been replaced with more effective units. We have had many comments in our visitor book expressing how well equipped our unit is. Our kitchen includes all the regular fixtures as well as your own ice tea maker and blender amongst other things. The unit has an answering machine, free internet, as well as hair dryers, iron and board, vacuum and carpet cleaner. We also have a fully-stocked lanai storage where you will find: boogie boards, coolers, golf clubs, tennis racquets and balls, beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkeling equipment, etc.
