The Map below will also help you with locations. Though most condos are in beach front complexes, others are within a 15 min rigorous walk from the beach (up hill coming home). All are within a 5 minute drive from at least 5 beaches and 5 golf courses and 2 tennis clubs.

Located to the lee of Haleakala on Maui's sunny south side, Wailea Resort, is the true, relaxed, island feel capital of South Maui. None of the Miami Beech style highrises here. With the residences & vacation rental villages limited to 2 stories in height and the beautiful palm trees and tropical landscaping, you definately know you are on an island here. Lush and green thanks to watering, Wailea is on the desert side of Maui and avarages less than 11" of rain per year.

One of only two resort and residential communities on Maui, Wailea offers two shopping centers, 6 luxury hotels and several condominium villages. Restaurants are amazing - most can be reached by walking the beach.

All Wailea Resort guests have the added benifit of reduced rates for golf and tennis at Wailea's 3 world renowned Golf courses and Championship Tennis facility. The exception is Polo Beach Club - technically in Makena, not all owners here can offer Wailea Pricing for golf and tennis.

The 1500-acre Wailea Resort was conceived in the 1960's as an integrated residential resort community. In the early 1970's, overall ideas for land usage and specific plans for some individual project areas were developed. Condominiums at Ekahi, Elua and Ekolu are about 30 years old. Though they have been beautifully maintained, when renting you may prefer a unit that has been remodeld - with newer kitchens and baths... the view and locations can't be matched.

This Star Fish of Excellence Rating is given to condos we have personally inspected and are considered to be decorated, updated, outfitted and maintained among the best of their complex.
