About Maui Kamaole M-110:
Our ground floor unit is located in the Melia "M" Cluster, and is among the newest and most private buildings in the Maui Kamaole complex. We recently completed an extensive remodel of our condominium, including - new tile floors throughout; new tiled, walk-in showers; new cabinets/vanities in the kitchen and bathrooms; new Bosch stainless steel appliances in the kitchen; new, much quieter split air conditioning systems in the living room and bedroom; upgraded lighting throughout; new kitchen and bathroom plumbing hardware; new comfortable furniture in the living and dining rooms; etc.
This is a non-smoking condominium. Maui Kamaole has banned smoking in the complex. If you are a smoker, please select another locale for your visit to Maui.
Our unit has a beautiful garden view and boasts a spacious lanai off the living room, as well as a private courtyard in the rear, off the master bedroom. Since this unit was among the last constructed at Maui Kamaole, the architect incorporated many improvements in the design of this cluster compared to the earlier clusters, nearer to the beach. Thus, our condo makes better use of the same amount of space compared to the condos constructed in the earlier years.
Unlike some other units overlooking South Kihei Road in the Maui Kamaole complex, we do not have the associated traffic noise (e.g., trucks rolling down the road at 6 AM or boats launching in the small harbor across the street). You are also close to the upper pool area, but not so close as to share in the noise. Likewise, you do not have to contend with a noisy parking lot, nor negotiate any steps to and from the parking lot, as some units do.
We are just a short five minute walk to Maui Kamaole III Park and Beach. This beach is one of the best kept secrets on the island. The "Locals" love the large lawn overlooking the beach. Each evening you will find them there to watch the sunset with their family and friends. When we're on the island, we often make the short walk to the park to watch the sunset, adult beverages in hand.
We are also about a ten minute walk to Keawakapu Beach, one of the nicest beaches on the island. We visit Keawakapu almost every day when we are on Maui.
Our family visits Maui several times each year, for at least four months, to check on the unit and to ensure that the unit is well stocked and in top-working order. We are aware of many condominiums which are poorly outfitted, for example, televisions that should be recycled, one pot for cooking, two coffee cups, five forks, phones that don't work, etc. The list could go on. Some owners never stay in their units and are only interested in maximizing revenue with minimal investment in their unit. This is a classic case of buyer beware when selecting a condo to spend your hard earned vacation dollars and vacation time.
We are continually upgrading the unit, with two HD televisions, together with a DVR to record your favorite shows or sporting events that you may want to view after a day at the beach or playing golf. The DVR is equipped with a full array of channels from the local cable provider. Hawaii is two or three hours behind the West Coast. Many live shows broadcast several hours earlier than normal on the mainland. We have also provided a Blu-ray DVD player if you want to watch your favorite movie on the DVD. Both televisions are enabled to play Netflix and Pandora, if you bring your laptop and have an account with Netflix/Pandora/Hulu. In addition to the HD televisions, we provide free, wireless internet access within the unit and free long distance telephone access to the mainland and Canada.
We recently added a new, plush, pillow-top king size bed in the master bedroom. You will enjoy a great night's sleep.
Our “Transient Accommodations and General Excise Tax” number is GE (TA)-214-427-6480-01. We comply with all State of Hawaii laws in collecting and remitting taxes.
Together with our tax information, we post the name of our local on-island representative and cleaner. Our representative will provide assistance in the very rare event that a guest experiences an issue. Likewise, a guest may also contact us on the mainland, by telephone, text message or email and expect a prompt reply/resolution.
We have listed our condo on another, well-know website over the past several years. Our guests consistently award five out of five stars.
Cancellation Policy: A $200 cancellation fee applies to all cancellations. Reservations may be cancelled up to 60 days prior to initial occupancy date with no additional penalty. No refunds for no-shows. All cancellations must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org in order that we have a written record of the cancellation. To protect from unforeseen circumstances beyond your control, e.g., family/work emergencies, etc., strongly recommend you buy trip cancellation insurance.
