You are going to love it here! It's the perfect place to be. Whether you are enjoying the unobstructed views of the ocean from the lanai or traveling to other parts of the island, you just can't beat our condo.

From the lanai you can watch whales, eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner, marvel at gorgeous sunsets or simply relax taking in the beauty of the surroundings. Strategically placed mirrors inside add spectacular views. Professionally remodeled and decorated, #221 offers a well-maintained, comfortable 1215 sq. ft. environment.

The kitchen is completely outfitted with modern electric appliances, corian counter tops, oak cabinets along with pots, pans, nice dishes, rice cooker, coffee maker and of course a blender for your mai tais. Lovely tropical art fills the walls and tile floors have been installed adding to island feel. An added bonus is the washer/dryer inside the condo for ease and convenience. We also keep it well-equipped with beach chairs, mats, beach towels, ice chest, boogie boards and umbrellas for the beach.

Both bedrooms have overhead fans as well as air conditioners but usually the lovely island trade winds breeze through the shuttered windows bringing the tropics of Maui indoors. The master bedroom is furnished with a comfortable king bed and a bathroom of its own. The loft, with an overhead fan, is nice and open with a comfortable queen bed. In April we added a new queen sofa sleeper to the living room.

One of our favorite features is the meticulously cleaned BBQs. Great conversation and friendships abound about sunset while sizing up everyone's dinner, sharing grilling tips as well as daily activities. If you are not the BBQ type, restaurants abound from gourmet to pizza.


Hale Kamaole, situated in South Kihei, with Haleakala mountain volcano as our backdrop, is a terrific location. The mountain blocks the rain so the weather is really the best on this part of the island. The Kamaole white sand beaches and grassy park are directly across from the condo. Turtle sighting, boogie boarding, snorkeling, sunbathing, kite flying, and perfect sunsets are just steps away. Kihei Harbor, used by the many ocean activity companies as a starting point for snorkel, scuba, fishing, and whale watching activities, is less than 1/4 mile south of the condo. A mirad of gorgeous and diverse beaches dot the ocean shore from Kamaole, Keawakapu, Wailea, Makena Big Beach, our personal favorite, and La Perouse, a black lava marine reserve. Also along this area, beautiful hotels provide luxury accommodations, fine dining, Hawaiian shows and upscale shopping.


Walking or jogging is delightful in this area. You can go for miles in either direction. A wonderful informative path along the beach has been established from Kamaole Beach toward the harbor and beyond. And if it's golf you love, there is definitely an abundance of courses in the area.

Booking Policies

  • This is a NON-SMOKING unit.
  • The maximum number of guests is limited to six persons. Exceptions can be made for babies and small children. Contact us.
  • An additional charge for guests in excess of four persons may apply. Please call for rates.
  • 10% discount given for stays of 28 or more nights.
  • 4 night minimum stay; 14 nights minimum at Christmas.
  • $203 cleaning fee is charged for stays less than 7 nights.
  • A deposit of $290/week is due at time of reservation
  • The total amount is due 90 days prior to your arival date.
  • * plus State of Hawaii Hotel Tax of 14.42%

Cancellation Policies

Cancellations that are made more than 90 days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% Cancellation fee or $50 whichever is greater. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, or are made within 90 days of arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and deposit. We will do our best to rebook the unit and refund you. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. You may choose to purchase travel insurance separately.
