About Kihei Luana Kai

This ocean front complex is located on 8 tropical acres about 10 miles from the airport on Maui's sunny south shore and has 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units (1-bedrooms are on the first 2 floors only).

It is said 'Luana Kai' means to be at leisure by the sea and this complex lives up to it's meaning.

Luana Kai's own grounds are lovely. The heated pool, with lounge chairs, hot tub and pavilion is a favorite. BBQ areas and free parking are also provided. 2nd & 3rd floor condos will have the best ocean views.

Between the condominium and ocean is a grassy park area with palm trees, a putting green, tennis courts, shuffleboard, lots of native flowers and spectacular views. The beach is good for snorkeling, windsurfing and kite boarding. It is rated "average" by several sources and can have seaweed. The reef is very shallow so windsurfers should be cautious at low tide. It is fun to visit the many beaches within a 5 minute drive and "rate" them for specific activities.

Our Condos:

All units have a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, also laundry equipment, high speed Internet access, TV, VCR and stereo. Staff is friendly and efficient. Look for our Starfish rating and we know you'll be happy with your accommodation. This property is rated "3-4*" by Trip Advisor with the pool and BBQ areas receiving the highest marks. All noted this is a great find for families on a budget.

Walk to restaurants and shopping. This gorgeous park-like setting on the beach is centrally located for all Maui has to offer and reasonably priced too.
